Tucker Carlson, the top-rated host on network television and a prominent figure of the resistance against the Leftist political and media establishment, was fired from his nightly show by Fox News.
This move has further contributed to Fox News’s decline into irrelevance.
Carlson released a video in which he explained what happened without mentioning Fox. He questioned how a profit-making enterprise could cut off its main source of profit.
In a positive tone, Carlson acknowledged the presence of genuinely nice people in the country who care about the truth.
Although Carlson did not directly state it, this seemed to imply that many people do not accept the Left’s increasingly nonsensical view of the world and will not be silenced. This realization is heartening.
However, Carlson pointed out that the critical events occurring in the U.S. are going unnoticed and undiscussed.
Also, The New York Times published a guest essay by Jason Zengerle, “Fox News Gambled, but Tucker Can Still Take Down the House.” It’s an in-depth look behind the scenes at Carlson’s career. Worth a read…
